Some programs (very clinically heavy ones) may not feel that's an asset for them. There are plenty of programs, however, that have a huge research component, and want to breed academics which a DDS/PhD is the best pedigree for.

You'd have to do the right research, and apply to the right places, but that combination of degrees is definitely unique and very appealing to the right programs.
