Hi all,
So I have a strong GPA (3.9 cumulative, 3.75 science), meh MCAT (502), and my EC's are not the greatest. I am a transfer from community college- also not sure how that will affect my app- so for 2 years I did nothing but work at Starbucks. So basically, in terms of EC's, I have 5 years working at Starbucks, 8 months thus far as a part-time ER scribe, about 40 hours PA shadowing, joined a science sorority, and occasionally attended a philosophy club. I am graduating this August.
Was wondering what my chances for a DO interview/acceptance are? Any low to mid-tier schools you would recommend applying to?
In terms of an "explanation"- my MCAT and EC's are lacking because I have ADD; I channeled most of my energy into studying for classes and scribing and didn't want to detract from those two. I am working on multi-tasking every day, so please no negative comments to the tune of "If YoU cAn'T dO mUlTiPlE tHiNgS yOu WoN't Be a GoOd DoCtoR"
