Hey guys, so I've been trying to add a chem class since school started 2 weeks ago and I was #3 on the wait list for that class. I've been going to class taking notes and today my professor basically said there's no room to add. So I went to another professor and tried adding his class and when I walked in I noticed he was teaching something completely different than the other chem professor. My question is if I do get added into the other class, how would I adjust to the new material that we haven't been learning in the chem class I've been attending? Has anyone went through this before?

The tried-and-true "study your a** off" way.

Short answer: study a lot

In dental school, you will be expected to learn way more material in a much shorter amount of time. If you can't catch up in a basic chemistry class in undergrad, then you will be destroyed in dental school.

I used chads videos for my dat but also when I took orgo 2. He is better than any professor I ever had and wish I knew about him when I took gen chem. course saver ...com

Ask the professor what sections from the book he taught from already. If he uses powerpoints download them and take notes from them. Any concepts you don't understand just YouTube it and/or find out his office hours until you are caught up.
