Does anyone have a sense of the national reputation of any of the Chicago programs?

UChicago is prob the best program (according to what ppl on SDN say). The best program may not always be the best program for you. All of them should give you good training if you work hard at it.
You should ask them 2 questions and 2 questions only --
1. Can you get me a job.
2. Can you get me a good fellowship.
And yes -- it they have to "get you" one because skill has absolutely next to nothing to do with how you get a job or how you get a fellowship. It is all a big game and if you don't play it right you will find yourself in the unemployment line next to some of your fellow BC Pathologists.
