I was looking in the phone book today and noticed that most chiropractic ads claimed to be certified in one area or the other. One chiro was "certified in pediatrics and prenatal care", another in auto injuries and another in sports injuries. The ad didnt say that they just treated these conditions but rather were "certified" in these areas. I didnt know that there existed certifying boards for Chiros. Can any practicing chiro confirm this and if so, what other areas can chiros specialize in? I know many may have their own opinions here but Im interested in hearing from practicing chiros. Thanks. Yeah, there are a number of chiropractic boards that offered specialty training in chiropractic radiology, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, etc.

Examples:

Here is the most interesting/scary chiropractic specialty: http://licenseinfo.oregon.gov/index.cfm?fuseaction=license_seng&link_item_id=14155
