j- I've been wondering the same thing (taking mine May 27th).. but haven't gotten a straight answer yet. Anyone?
Yeah...I'm taking the MCAT on June 13, and I'm going to submit AMCAS on the first possible day so I could start getting secondaries. I think that's the best way to do this.Getting excited about finally starting the application process this June!!
Taking the May 31st MCAT so won't be getting my score back 'til end of June. Should I submit AMCAS for processing before I get my score?
My new MSAR just came in the mail...I'm so excited to check it out!
Im waiting on mine also,...when did you order yours?Yeah, looks like I pretty much mailed it in for my last chemistry midterm. It's probably because I aced the first two by an overwhelming margin; and I get to drop 1 of the 3 midterms we get.. so is it any wonder I didn't really try to study? Can't be good, because it's all on the final regardless.
I can look at it this way though - I helped out everyone else in the class by not setting the curve 😉 Time to spend the next few weeks prepping early for the final, which does count equally as much as my two midterm grades do.
Still waiting for my MSAR.. I hope its different than my 07-08 edition.. if it changes any of my list, it's worth its weight in gold.
will be joining you guys after deferring for a yr! 👍
I'd love to defer a year to go to France; it's a life dream to become fluent in French...
But in order to defer, you have to first be accepted... *sigh*
Here's to one hell of year.

I think I ordered mine 4/9. It came yesterday.
Well, off to suffer through two more hours of OChem (16 hours left!! Woohooo!!)
just got my MSAR today and it shows GPA ranges (both science and overall) in addition to the median GPA.
It also includes entire projected student budgets!!
As a CA resident, I'm basically required to apply to 25+ schools
Ca might be competitive, but I would much rather be in Ca then in a state without a school like Montana.yep...me too...will shelling out crazy $$$$....😡😡😡
two cheers for Cali residents!!

Almost all of Cali schools are tops in the nation and they show a very strong instate bias then schools much much higher then places like Ohio and Pennsylvania. (so no more crying please) 😀
Lol, im not trying to single anyone out, its just that im jealous.
Yeah, but I doubt that the ADCOMS really treat them as such. THey might, but I doubt it.Don't Montana residents get to go to University of Washington as in-state residents? I know it's just one school, but its something.
I'm doing great! Excited for the application season to start! May 14 will be here sooner than you expect 😉I am doing good JG, just looking forward to may 14th and finishing my postbacc. How are you doing?
Yeah, you're right. CA is a great state if you have a competitive app...but it's still really scary!Ca might be competitive, but I would much rather be in Ca then in a state without a school like Montana.

Those arent matriculant rates for just Cali schools. THey include those ppl from california that matriculate IS and OOS, so whether they decide to stay in california or not doesnt matter. Those are matriculant rates, however... and I would venture to guess that Cali residents who get into their state schools are more likely to go due to the great reputation that Cali schools have.. where as other states, like NC, residents are not quite as inclined to choose the state school if the get in somewhere else. That's just a thought.. do agree there are other competitive states, however.
Im pretty overwhelmed right now, I dont like Professors throwing so much on there students at the end of the semester.

lol nope.Oh.. gotcha.. I was confused by your data, thought you were talking about matriculation at the UC schools vs. at UNC!
possibly UCF because there secondary is only 30 bucks. Thats the chepaest one ive seen.Just curious...anyone taking a chance on applying to one of the several new med schools? (i.e. UCF, with the free tuition?). I've heard UCF isn't going to be giving FL residents preference for the first few years at least, so anyone has an equal shot.
