I agree. I think the problem with fad diets is that they're too short term. They attempt to provide a quick fix where a whole readjustment of liferstyle is needed. A balanced diet in moderation and regular exercise is key imho.

Activity and calories need to be in balance. I eat way more in the summer when I'm more active but I usually lose fat.
