I thought for Chuck's test, a lower score means higher correlation?

Crap I can't see the picture Drizz posted. It's blocked here at work 🙁

Ugh. I'm not fond of that site. They told me I should go into derm and there's no way I'm gonna have the #s for that. 😛

Try again, UVA.
This thing says I should go into path. Should I be insulted?

path is super cool now with all the new emphasis on genetics!
one of my interviewers was a pathologist. She seemed to enjoy it... I think I would miss the patient interaction tho

Haha, and USC agrees with UVa that I should go into derm.

Yikes. 😱

There are worse things in life than ending up in derm, pianola 🙂

Heh, no I mean, I don't see myself getting the Step 1 scores, grades, and research to place into derm...😛

It doesn't say what you should go into, it just says you answered most like the Pathologists in the database answered. Don't be insulted... Besides what were your other top choices...

Here are mine from the MSAT OMBD posted:

Through my current job, I've worked with Hyperbaric medicine, which is part of aerospace Med, which is a faction of Prev Med. It's a pretty awesome field.

Cool... still makes no sense 😉

Have to read up on it.

Yeah, much of it has to do with tooling pressures to control oxygen supply. Such as diving, increasing pressure, to increase concentrations of oxygen to deep tissue; such as in deep burn recovery.

Wooo done with work, going to a play tonight with my brother and his fiance. Take it easy and talk to you tomorrow.

Guess you need to buckle down.

The second test says I should go into radiation oncology. Much better. 👍

And genetics is cool, but staring at a microscope ALL DAY EVERY DAY does not seem like it would be superfun.

Hell to the no for 9 & 10.

alrite peoples time to actually do work 🙁

later :hello:

I don't remember Warcraft 3 in middle school... maybe Starcraft, but Warcraft 3 didn't come out until I was in college, and that was 2004ish. I could be wrong because I never played Warcraft 3..

There's no Starcraft 3.

"Mountain, Rite of Flame, Rite of Flame, Seething Song, Rite of Flame, Dragonstorm, fetch 4 Bogardan Hellkites FTW!" :meanie:

For the record, all of these plays are ridiculous rare... usually it's a lot more fun and interactive 🙂

I don't know what any of those cards are. 😱 I've only played with the newer stuff.

OMG. These are disgusting.

There's this kid in our office wearing them.

... I think they look really comfortable! 😀

But I agree that they look a bit disturbing at first.

Is anyone here planning to go into OB?

Definitely on my current short list! Well. OB/Gyn, or just Gyn, actually. Which is weird because I don't get along well with most other women socially, but I like working with them I guess? I hope?

I want to take those aptitude tests... But I either need to work or head home. I think I'm going to work. Bah. Responsibility.

only thing on that list I might be interested in would be cardiology, ortho, neurosurg, but they aren't even in the top 10 lol

maybe i'll be more interested in neonatal during med school ???

Nothing sad about that! 🙂

Double ouch. And that is why I stick to drafting and playing with friends. 😀

Ok, back to work!

I did play draft. Played about $200worth of draft IRL and about $400 drafting on MTGO

UNC vs x thread... paging chubs...
Pick VCU...much better school.

It also seems like theres more UNC vsX schools then almost any other school. Wtf, they admit only 180 ppl/yr, how many are on Sdn?!

sdn... you'll either love or loathe neonatal med. there's no middle ground.

yeah, my poor coworker. I cried for her. losing puppies is soooo hard, especially when they've been in the family so long. 🙁

and since dad built the neighborhood, ppl always come here with problems. tonight someone is locked out of their house and needed our phone. Ah, at least our neighbors are all nice 👍

Is anyone not working over this summer before school starts? I feel "bad" about only wanting to work 2 days a week (Sat/Sun) but would love the relaxation and ability to be a "free spirit" before school hands my butt to me. It just feels wrong. Anyone?

I know OMBD, Myuu, and I are all quitting our full-time jobs very soon. I'm actually looking forward to lounging around for 2 months before school starts 🙂
