thanks kids, i was gonna buy a miami sweatshirt but realized i would have to come back up north to wear it. its 81 degrees in miami today

Brook, are you accepted to Miami? If not, I'd say hold off on it, don't want to jinx yourself.
 
So could I get some advice from you guys? I have 3 more interviews. (Drexel, Jefferson and VCU) They're all the first week of classes in January. Should I still go or should I go ahead and cancel since I've already gotten a couple acceptances and I'm till not sure of where I want to go.

Reasons to go:
Never been to Philly and VCU sounds nice
Should actually visit the schools so I can get a feeling
Possible scholarships/finaid??

Reasons Not to go:
Pretty expensive (my money is going pretty fast)
I won't have to fly anymore (2 really bad plane rides have jump-started my fear of flying)
I'll be done with interviews

What do you guys think?

could you honestly see yourself at any of those schools? would you choose any of them above one of the schools you've already gotten into? that's how i would decide.

someone had a great questionnaire on here a while back that you could use. i haven't been able to find it. but yea, listen to dw and look at the schools you're in already, and if you'd rather go there than any of the new ones.

I'm not familiar with the schools, but if one tends to give out lots of $$$ it might be worth it to interview.

Otherwise I'd follow Dw's advice.

I think the biggest question is whether you can see yourself attending those 3 schools over any of the schools you've already been accepted to. Yes? I'd say go to the interviews. Maybe? I'd still say go to the interviews. No? Don't bother 🙂!

i'm trying to decide on drexel too. i would listen to the above adivce though-if you think you'd go there over the schools you've been accepted to than go for it, if not save your money and cancel.

i think so, but i cant find it. i just remember it being HELLA long and it was questions one should ask themselves to decide on a school. i really want to ind it if anyone can think of it...
 
You know, I still have 12 schools left to hear from. I wonder what's taking these schools so long.

if i go to amsterdam in the summer, smoke marijuana, come back to the states, and take a drug test and fail, does that still count against me?

i really want to make this amsterdam trip, but i heard some schools give drug tests.

yea i thought about it. it shouldnt count because its on foreign land but i dont know if they will take the explanation

It shouldn't, but I'm betting it would. Med school "professionalism committees" or whatever each school calls them unfortunatly write their own rules as they go.
