They're all named for corporate sponsors now and the old landmarks have been destroyed and stuff. College football (and other sports) stadiums are very very very rarely named for corporate sponsors.

i'm starting to really enjoy the feeling that my application cycle is over! i'm starting to mentally plan out my apartment for next year 🙂

yea, i have a couple things in mind for my apt. i want to live alone, too. done with the whole roommate thing. i will try to buy an apt/condo depending on where I go.

Yah its a wonderful feeling knowing all this bs is over and you dont have to sell yourself anymore🙂. I wish i could plan but UCLA just takes forever to decide on applicants. Its weird to think in 6 months or less well all be M🙂.

not me... sinai has 4 bedroom apts on 98th between mad and park. i'm so pumped!! i just hope my roommates don't suck. although it'd be hard for them to suck more than my current ones.

haha yeah. i've basically just put my remaining 2 schools out of my mind-- no chance for me at either place. where are you planning to go at the moment?

im going to UC davis at the moment. UCLA still hasnt made a post-int decision (though its basically like harvard is to you i think im just dreaming lol). UCI has me on the waitlist and if they accept me i might go there over davis...but dont know. Even wisconsin i might go if they throw money at me. But that is doubtful though they do offer something like 30 half tuition scholarships and i think some full.

i saw him in the primaries at washington square, the guy is a rockstar but he doesn't really say much

however, i would guess that since you go to a school in MA, he's gonna drop a lot of knowledge

those sinai apartments are pretty nice, esp by nyc standards for the price
 
Ok, you know that thing where you hold control and roll the mouse wheel to change the size of the stuff on the screen?

Well, I somehow managed to do that on my laptop without a mouse. My mouse is 100 miles away. How do I unenlarge the screen?

i just need to say that my interest in the figure skating disciplines has changed from this, for most of my life:

1. ladies
2. dance
3. men
4. pairs (a distant 4th)

to this, now:

1. men

3. ladies (a distant 3rd)
4. pairs (yet more distant)

what happened to the days of good female figure skaters coming out of this country? jeez. i'm going to have to root for the mao asada and yu na kim at the olympics.
