My dad is annoying as hell on purpose so I get mad at just about everything he does. Regardless, I already said I got mad about something stupid. And you get no opinion in the matter.

i didnt even know its fathers day this sunday LOL
Be kind to your dad. It's Father's Day this Sunday. He loves you, I'm sure he doesn't just annoy his sick daughter on purpose.
He's your dad. He loves you. He and your mom probably paid a lot for your education, too. I won't overstep boundaries though because there can be exceptions, like my parents. I'll ignore that last part considering your sick

I'm not gonna be home because of TPR training stuff, and I told my dad that his present was that I was gonna be gone. He seemed cool with it.
ah, come on, ksmi. Give him at least a Father's Day card.
It was a joke!! Of course, I'm giving him something. Although, I still think it's unfair that there is no Daughter's Day. I want a holiday where people have to be nice to me.
You might want to lighten up a little..I'm sure you could be happier that way
*searches for an inspirational quote
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning how to dance in the rain.
EDIT: today i will be nice to you.
yeah, or Son's Day.🙄

Ha ha. You are certainly more into it than I am, but that's awesome. What kind of stuff do you play, other than Metallica?
I just have a Fender electric/acoustic. I used to have a couple electrics, but I sold them when I went back to school. Had to pay da billz!
thats sorta like girls saying they dont really want anything for valentines day because its a silly holiday or medical schools secondaries saying this essay is optional you don't have to fill it out. clearly he wants something.
Yes, he loves me, and yes, he does stuff to purposefully annoy me. He doesn't know how to act when I'm around since I haven't lived at home for like 2 years, so he goes with annoying.
Yes, they did, back in elem/middle/high school. Now I'm totally on scholarship. So they can't pull the we pay for your stuff card. And you shouldn't ignore the last part. You must be at least 18 for your opinion to have a chance of counting.
P.S. I'm kidding.
so what should I buy for my dad?
had a nice discussion about the bible with someone at work
What did you decide about the Bible?
Well, you had a discussion. I'm assuming this discussion led to some sort of conclusion.
i should have phrased my statement better. we had a discussion about part of the bible. namely, whether King Saul was justified in taking the spoils of war rather than razing/burning everything in sight.
Well was he?
1 Samuel 15
2"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'I will punish Amalekfor what he did to Israel, how he set himself against him on the way while he was coming up from Egypt.
3'Now go and strike Amalek and utterly destroy all that he has, and do not spare him; but put to death both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.'"
8He captured Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
9But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were not willing to destroy them utterly; but everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.
are you familiar with the story?
Yes. I done quite a bit of Bible studying in my day. Although I'm probably a bit rusty since I haven't really delved into since high school.
The woman I was discussing it with said no, Saul was absolutely not justified in the action. God told him to do x, he should have done x. Much like if your attending tells you to piss on the wall while the patient watches, you piss on the wall while the patient watches.
I suggested, we need to know what Saul's true intentions were in saving the spoils and the king. Were it motivated by greed, perhaps not. But maybe he was rewarding his troops for a job well done - what good would it have been to simply slaughter the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings? Although, one can argue that the LORD would offer far greater reward for obedience, than that which was attained from the Amalekites.
Then we're back to square one
Yeah, that's what's so hard about interpreting things that happen in the Bible. You know what people said. Of course, we can never know why God does what He does. And then the people's intentions are rarely clear either. So hard to figure out what's actually wrong and right and such.
I feel so down right now.🙁
Why?
🙁 Maybe consciously try to be more friendly?I keep being a jerk to people close to me. What's wrong with me?
