Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That's a lot of schools. Must be a joy doing all those secondaries.🙄

lol we already went over this! most of them are doooooonezo!

theyre just going through the editing factory right now so theyre out of my hands....🙄

damn, I just found out I'm like failing my summer class. I haven't studied at all, I'm really worried.🙁

youre like failing or actually failing??!? omg blue what class?

Hey red, how do you organize your spreadsheet? I mean, it looks like their in order based on color. Wouldn't that be a hassle to keep up with every time a school's status changes?

well every time a status changes i just change the color of the row and simply replace the status with the new one. then i just sort the column of the latest update (i.e. right now the furthest ive gone is the complete column, so it sorts them by date for complete, then secondary submit date, then sec rec date.) so theyre actually organized by the status. colors just add some flare 😛

Sweet! I didn't even think of that. Nice job!

:hello: You don't have anything to worry about. 👍

😀

haha look who's talking hotshot with 2 interviews already 🙂

I remember you...you were the mod I was trying to get to ban me so I could get off SDN!

This one is sweet. Does the row moved based on what color you change it to?

EDIT: Nevermind, I read above.

thanks! it would be great if it auto-sorted the way you suggest. ive been trying to figure that out for a while. but it does count the number of each one and puts them next to the status in the legend down below. but i guess this feature isnt as necessary for most applicants, seeing as most are intelligent enough not to exceed 25 schools 😛

Hope everybody is having a great night so far. I am REALLY sick of this process. I wish I could just get stuck on an island for a week with no internet access so I could stop refreshing my e-mail, writing secondary essays, and wondering when the heck some schools are just going to say yes or no!

Oh well.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to do that, but don't ask me what it is.

And really, Discovery Health channel, who cares if she didn't know she was pregnant?

And multiples. Please. Show more trauma action 👍

🙂 there was a girl in my hs that didnt know she was pregnant and she went through labor in class. fun times

i think i saw a similar story on maury the other day. and out of the 2 guys they tested as being the father, well, it was neither of them.

Oh, that's what that I was doing. I thought so... but when I looked at the spreadsheet, it just had the error messages "#NAME" for all of those places... *shrug*

EDIT: Btw, I think you can sort based on color, but not in a quantized way such as "red, then orange, then...." Excel just sorts whichever color you chose to the top or bottom of the spreadsheet. I guess, from there, if you have it custom sort based on levels you can make it sort by color (i.e. first sort red to top, then sort orange to top [it would then be above red]), though the dates within those colors may not necessarily be sorted.

I've been working on my audition music for this song for the past few days... and yeah, that's a Japanese high school band. 👍

or you could be really ridiculous about it and do this
make a new column that is "invisible" or whatever color. Make it conditional to be a number, based on the color of the row it is in. Then you can choose each color to be the number you prefer, so when you sort by the number, they will be in your favorite order!

I was trying to figure out how to do an autosort, but apparently there's no function. Only complicated macros and such, which is over my head.

2000.

This calls for some random pictures.
