yea i was looking at last year's thread and i can tell that there will be a lot of "omg why haven't i found out yet its been 2 days since the guy that interveiwed 3 weeks ago from me received his acceptance"

I feel very little pressure about tomorrow, so that should help.

And Mary, I thought you were applying to 4 IS, so that's why I said 3. :laugh:

Totally beasted that test. They should not have let me take that class. It's ridiculous. :laugh:

What's your scheduling strategy at this point?
 
i actually have around one every tuesday (the day that i have the least amount of obligations) since like late august to early december. with a gap in one week of middle october.
 
from now on, i might start (e)mailing schools w/ updates that really asks them to consider scheduling interviews around my schedule if they do have any interest in me, esp the midwestern schools

Wow. That's a lot of flying.

Here's what I did:
-2 last week
-1 next week
-1 the week after
-2 the week after that

None scheduled after that until January, a few unscheduled that I'm hoping to make in January.

I'm hoping that 1 of my 2 last week will turn into an acceptance and I can drop pretty much all of them (except probably CCLCM in Jan). We'll see what happens, I don't know if this is the best way to do it but it's really the only thing I can do with school/money.

I'm probably dropping the last 2 if I can pull an acceptance on the 15th/16th from my first 5 interviews. Maybe my November can actually be free.

this week - 3
next week - 1
the next week - 1
then 2 more in November

If I get an acceptance in October, I'm most likely withdrawing from Emory, maybe LSU-S too. I'm so ready to not be worried about flights and everything anymore.

i'm so glad I waited until after graduation. I just talked to my new employer about the dates I'll be missing for interviews and conferences, and she asked if I could come up to the lab to talk about them. Turned out she wasn't worried about me missing lab time, just making sure that I had enough vacation time accrued - and to tell me off the books that if I didn't, I could back-use vacation time from later on. :laugh: thank goodness.

ive had 1 in the begin of sept, 1 at the end... will have 1 at the begin of oct, 1 at the end and 1 at the begin of nov... i see a pattern forming
 
yeah, many of you have already gone to bunches of interviews. my first interview is next week! :scared:

Also, I can't decide what I should wear. It's wisconsin, and they said to wear nice, comfortable clothes. What does that mean??

I just want one acceptance so I can relax... come on Oct. 15th!
 
Being stuck in Charlotte sucks, I should be home now. I missed my transfer flight by 5 mins because my first plane left 40 mins late. 🙁

I'm getting tired of flying.

At least Charlotte's airport is nice and has good food. But that does suck.

i got a BU invite! yay! and i scheduled it for december 2, because they don't accept anyone until january... so why rush. i'm tired anyway. my schedule has been one interview/week starting 9/10 and continuing until 10/15, except for the week of 10/12 where i have 2 interviews. tiiiired. but so excited!

Cool! Call me crazy, but I thought I remember you getting rejected a while back and wondering why because you knew a member of the Adcom or something like that. 😕 Maybe I'm getting people or schools confused.

I'm bored. I should probably get to sleep soon but I feel like I should be doing more when I don't have class tomorrow (kind of). Strangest interview experience ever - staying at home. :laugh:

yeah, i got unrejected after initally getting rejected. basically he put in a request to interview me and somehow i got a rejection email instead or something. anyway, they put me back in the pile and now i have an invite!

That actually reminds me, I know people but I didn't even think about setting something up. I just always assumed I would stay at home, even if I could have had more fun or whatever with someone else. That's weird how I didn't even consider it an option.

I'm doing a ton of this too, even for non-rolling schools.
