yea he moves fast you gotta respect him, its refreshing in midst of a dragged out process like med school apps (esp pitt angry face)
 
so I just looked at the officer list in the fb group and then a whole story unfolded very much similarly to Mission Impossible.

...an adcom member is desperate to discover the identities to the most prevalent posters on the pre-med forum on SDN and sell these identities to the highest bidders around the nation. The person has heard of a "NOC" list that connects an applicant's SDN name to his/her real name. This list is stored in a room temperature controlled and requires retinal scanning to enter. ...or a facebook invite!

In short, we must be on the look out for an infiltrating adcom member, particularly one that looks like a creepy eastern european, ving rhames, tom cruise, and especially that Jon Voight!

I'm actually really happy with my new lab. It's a lot more fun than my old one.

A post doc in my lab does ovairian cancer research.

Skittles? Are you trying to make my squash soup a flop?

also, not trying to flop your soup. i added some skittles to my dad's soup one year, and that day everyone LOVED it. 😀
 
Did any of you guys see that movie awhile ago called "21"? For some reason, I was thinking about it today.

White boards are in pockets on one wall, including one smart board that may serve as a source for the projection system. Projection sources include: instructor laptop, built in computer (Windows/Mac OS X) with dual screen output, document camera, and annotation tablet. The instructor will be able to project student work from team laptops anywhere in the room.

I really liked that movie too, but it always bothered me that supposedly this guy used his gambling story as a way to get a scholarship from Harvard Medical School. Didn't that seem a bit odd to you?

Haha, good detective work, but typing the beginning of the description into google would've given you UVa. Oh, I need to update MDapps. I cancelled Oregon today. Too expensive, too much trouble to get out there, and I'd need to take two more classes next semester. 👎
