I haven't lost any weight, either. :laugh: If anything, I've probably gained some because I have been eating horribly.

I'm going to go nuts after graduation and just do a ton of cardio (and eat healthy) to lose weight quick so that I can be in shape by the time school starts. LSU-NO students are in really good shape.

It's like sooooo entertaining and like their lives represent mine so much, I can definitely put myself in the protagonists shoes. Like all these rich people talk crap and what-not and the plastic surgeryyyyy. Too bad I live in the real OC, Oakland County byatchesssss. They wouldn't survive 2 days in the real Hills.

Edit: Like I can relate to them, but like their too poor and they don't party hard enough for the show to be realistic.

ya it seems like most med students are fit compared to the general population (which makes sense)

Save it. And when you become a doctor go back to them and show them that and laugh in their faces. I.e. the whole Michael Jordan HOF speech thing. He was such a d-bag about it.

Maybe. But I have the rejection letter in my Bag O' Rejection that I will keep as motivation. Plus, I might want to do residency there and they might not appreciated that at an interview.

Well it said something like "please have your order in by May 1, otherwise have it in as soon as you get your acceptance." It's just that I saw this announcement like a month ago and I've just been avoiding the orientation site since. 😳

It's like crossing the finish line after a hard race. You just wanna be done once accepted...

Unfortunately the med schools want to extend the race lol
 
If those are your two options I say UCSD! How much of a factor is the weather?

I know personally I'm running everyday, looking to be outside doing something any break I get. I feel like you are in a snowglobe in New Haven, CT. I wouldn't like it!

When you send PMs, there's a little check box at the bottom that says "Save copy in my Sent folder" or something like that.
 
blobby, at least when you pick Yale, you'll be doing what 1/2 of your peeps tell you. I won't be listening to anyone. In fact, I'll be going where people have told me not to go. 🙁

my parents both have been extremely supportive on both side of my decisions even though they are completely different things. i was hoping they would be one sided so i could either blame them one day for debt or unhappiness
 
oh, and Dingy, I talked to my bf about the disability thing. He pays a little over 3k/year. It gaurentees him 70% of his income if something were to *god forbid* happen. idk, just some figures for ya....

Exactly! It just hit me recently that I'm graduating college soon and starting this whole other bigger, scarier journey.

obvi UCSD! 😛. Seriously you cant go wrong with either. Money is a HUGE factor for me so unless you got a sick scholarship id go ucsd. Either way its a great problem to have.

and ksmi where you going washu then ?


Also i finally got my last fin aid package and it was the best yet!! So excited barring coming off the WL at UCLA, im def going uc davis now. Glad i withdrew from everywhere else. I dont have a ksmi scholarship to lsu or something but its at least a sizeable amount of need based scholarships.

aww im sure youll figure it out. It would be kinda, i dont know, anti-climatic if you go to lsu. I remember when we 1st started i figured youd be at harvard, hopkins, or otherwise.
