On my way back from FL, and it's almost official: just sent in my last ditch effort/withdrawal from Pritzker.
 
nothing is really bad but im having a god awful day as far as getting things to go the way i want

Haha... that's been my summer as a whole. My life in the past few weeks has proven Murphy's Law 100X over (laptop battery dying, dog chewing laptop cord, not getting a driver's license as planned, family car getting broken into, family car breaking down, AC on my car breaking two days before we're going to be driving through the desert, etc.)... It's ceasing to be amusing at this point 🙄
 
wow, baton rouge airport is the nicest ive seen yet. nobodys here, and its got a reading room, a childrens play room, a chapel, a smoking lounge, and a business center 😀

You got the internet to work? I could never get the internet work in both times I was at BTR.

Coincidentally enough, I also flew to Richmond out of BTR because it was surprisingly cheaper than NOLA.
 
yea it is, i was pretty damn surprised. but its def convenient for me 😀 i havent tried the internet tho, my laptop has like 5 mins of battery life, so im just using my phone.
 
The first time I tried to fly out of BTR my flight to Dallas was cancelled, forcing me to fly to Seattle on game day. That was nuts.

When I flew to Richmond out of BTR my first flight almost was cancelled and arrived very late. :laugh:

I can't really say I'm a fan.
 
oh damn...i think my flights gonna be on time tho. it better be, cuz i only have like 30 mins to get to my connecting flight at the maze-like charlotte airport.
 
ummm...the planes tiny, gotta check in my carry on 🙁 and the pilot sounds drunk 🙁 🙁

At least the Charlotte airport is nice. I had 20 mins there one time. I don't think it's that maze-like. If you had 20 mins in Atlanta, you'd be screwed.

Planes are always tiny out of there.
 
turns out its the same terminal, so not bad at all. last time i had to change terminals and its a loooooong wall. i thought atl was ok cuz they have the trains bw terminals.

How did they get your phone number? And how do you know it wasn't the person who stole your wallet?

Optimus Prime famously uttered "freedom is the right of all sentient beings", but one of his fans, a 14 year old boy from China took the liberty of drinking gasoline in a quest to emulate his Autobot hero.
The boy was apparently inspired to drink gasoline after seeing Optimus Prime on TV, and wishing to become a "valiant fighter" just like the hundred foot tall transport truck/robot.
"He began to drink gasoline five years ago, when we found he liked smelling lighter fuel," said the boys father. The boys parents owned a small stall that sold lighters, and the two often found lighters drained of their fluid. The boys parents confronted their son, but it did little to help matters.
After speaking with their son"… we found our motorcycle's gasoline was always disappearing, and one day when we found the boy had drunk a half bottle of gasoline stolen from the motorcycle, we were too shocked to say anything," the father said. The boy exhibited addict-like behavior after the parents locked their motorcycle away, stealing gasoline from vehicles belonging to neighbors. The parents said that the gasoline drinking took a toll on the boys brain.
"Since my son started to drink gas, his IQ has dropped sharply and now he can't figure out simple addition and subtraction," the father said. "Before that, he was a very smart boy, and he could even repair the television. But now he does not know the answer of 7 plus 17."
The boy has now been hospitalized for "gasoline dependency". Doctors say that the leaded gasoline has done "serious damage" to his brain.
According to the Shanghai Daily, Transformers is immensely popular in China, with both movies setting box office records.

I feel better today!

The tropical depression thingy last night wasn't much. The weather was actually beautiful right before the storm and right after. Odd. Not much rain or wind.
