Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Maybe, I've never ever heard anyone refer to ent as oto tho haha.

I saw the Saints one earlier today. Madden is becoming increasingly more stupid. "Hey guys, what do the kids want in their games these days?"

"We could do like a swagger meter where players have swagger ratings."

Yeah, O.K. what else?

"Well kids love Obama lets throw him in the game."

Seriously? Seriously Madden?

LOL. Not buying that game. I have 2010 and I've played it like 5 times.

Hmmm... I'm thinking that's debatable haha...

no, it's really not.

if i were you, i'd start saving for Lakers @ Heat. I'd be ok with spending $500 for that ticket (granted everyone is healthy).

regardless, it's a great place to be >21. i haven't been back since i turned 21.

I'm getting so nervous people! I leave Thursday for Miami!

I'm nervous too! - Leave on Friday.

It's just weird because I've never left my family/friends before since I've lived in the same city (and same house) my entire life and have always commuted. Definitely something I need to finally experience though after postponing it for an extra four years. Just sucks that my dog is probably going to die any day now on top of everything. Lots of chaaanggeeeee

no need to be nervous, you are gonna be busy like 24/7 to actually feel anything. or thats what i think will happen. classes haven't started yet but my days are full to every minute to get the most out of it, academically and socially

anatomy is gonna suck. i love the human body and love surgery and **** but after scraping the fat off of the skin of 20 decently fit mice (takes forever) i can only imagine how horrible the bitch work will be for a fat cadaver

That's why I hated anatomy. hours and hours of digging through fat and fascia looking for a tiny nerve or vessel. 👎

at least I was lucky and got a rare skinny cadaver.

👎

That doesn't sound fun.

:xf: for one that's not too fat.

It will inhabit your dreams in a negative way for the next year or so, but other than that it's ok.,,

Also to uphold the core principal of all universities.

I kinda liked when SDN was down because I could actually keep up with the FB group

I'm on ob/gyn. I'm on outpatient which is pretty chill compared to inpatient. It's not so bad, 8-5 pretty much.

Is that a good way to start? Or is this not your first rotation?

I'm just curious. My old roommate's brother is an M3 but I don't really see him much so I can't ask him stuff. Plus, I'm not really a huge fan of him.

Trying out a new avatar to confuse people. I need to donate so I can make it bigger.

what do you guys think, this one or the classic googlie eyes?

wow its been quiet in here tonight. does this mean people are getting fairly busy with the end of the summer, but not busy enough to need to procrastinate?

It's not bad. If I could pick I would start with primary care, but this is the only schedule that works with my conference schedule. I like OB, it's a nice mix of procedures and medicine. Long hours though, probably the worst hours of anything except surgery.

This new one works, but the classic googlie eyes are very Dr Yoda.

I'm winding down with the end of summer, so for me it's the opposite.

Sounds good.

I'm busy this week and then vacation time starting mid next week.

Sounds good. When do you start classes again? The M2s at LSU started up again yesterday. 👎

that's really early. I don't like it when schools don't give their students time to decompress/study for boards (between m2/3)

My first round of exams are the Monday and Tuesday between the West Virginia and Tennessee games. :lame:

The second round of exams is 2 days after the Alabama game. 😡

(btw these are ALL home games)

+pissed+

I have 1 test the day after West Virginia, 3 the week after Florida (where my roommate went to school... should be crazy), 1 the day after Alabama. 🙁

Hey JJ, last question about the HIDs, I promise.

Good news is I finally got them installed after some technical difficulties over the course of a week, but now that I've got them in and working, I think my bulbs must not be in right or be out of alignment because the beam is very... well not right, lol. Any chance you came across a similar problem...?

Also, along the same lines, I think the problem is steel protector/reflector you put in before the bulb. Mine doesn't fit in there exceptionally tightly, any suggestions for making sure it's in there correctly? Thanks again man, and Bumgarner is a stud!

does it make a straight line on a garage door? Do you have projection headlights or reflector?

I've decided that due to the fact that I'll have no income for the next 4 years, I should be a human guinea pig for all these (reasonable) clinical studies going on here. I'll let y'all know how that goes.

I have reflector (which I know is a 'no-no' with HIDs). But it does not make a straight line with the garage doors. I have a feeling it's how the bulb is sitting in the metal housing in the headlight because it seems to not be a matter of being aimed higher or lower, it looks like it's a completely different beam shape and like all the light isn't coming through...

you can get some really weird patterns with reflectors. You definitely won't get that straight line.

I know I won't get the straight line, but I was expecting a pattern at least close to what my OEM pattern was. Maybe I'll try reinserting the bulb + housing on the trouble headlight...
