My mom just agreed to babysit this weekend or next weekend. Praise Jebus, I want to go on a date!

Now we have to pick a movie. SuckerPunch is definitely on the list, since it looks like the type of flick you can't fully appreciate unless you see it on the big screen.

i accidentally put double or triple the amount of vanilla extract i normally use in my coffee, and im finding it impossible not to slug. must. make. more.
 
Not that this is news, but apparently my state is #3rd dumbest state in America. For a state boasting the best public university system (go UCs!) this is a bit of a surprise, although I think the issue is mainly with our high school system... (20% drop out rate, 1511 avg SAT scores 😱).

Sorority recruitment = Mean Girls on crack. The bolded reminds me of the time I came straight from class to the day's first "party" (why the heck they call them "parties" beats me) with my hair in its natural waves. I got completely b*tched out by a couple of older girls for not straightening my hair. I almost started crying. Daisy, I'm sure you can understand.

That sounds freaking delicious. On a related note, we got the most delicious vanilla latte pods for our single-cup coffee maker at work. My boss and I hid them in a secret drawer so no one else can drink them. I think I might me addicted.

Wow, I feel old. When did they change the SAT scoring? For a second there I thought that looked too good to be true, then looked up the new scale and not so much.
 
Sometime between 2001 and 2005, but I forget exactly when. I took it in 2001 and my sister took it in 2005 and her score is based on the 3 subject grading.
 
high school graduating class of 2006 is when they changed the SAT.
 
Thanks. I had no idea writing was in the SAT too now. I feel for the poor graders of the thousands of HS essays. My TA grading makes me want to poke my eyes out half the time and they are upper division...
 
Just wanted to say I was a skeptic. Finally forced myself to watch Archer. It actually is hilarious.

I thought it felt neat too when my daughter was in utero. It's different when it's your kid. My lady thought it felt neat too, until my kid came out with a foot tall flaming red mohawk. She was like: 😱, and I was like :horns:.

It usually doesn't hurt, I swear. You just feel them rolling and pushing around in there. There are things that are uncomfortable, like bouncing on your bladder or pushing on your stomach when they're full, or getting a kick in the ribs (in the middle of physics lecture) but I don't think fetal movement ever actually caused me pain. The only thing that hurts right now are my round ligaments, when I sneeze or change position too quickly. IIRC, that went away with Chicklet eventually. Then you just pee a little when you sneeze.

I just got b*tched out by the rudest old man at work today. I swear, as people age they fall into one of two categories: really sweet old people, or really crabby miserable old people. This guy was king of the second group.
