Class of 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Usually with those high numbers a significant percentage of them are "non-practicing christians" or something like that. I have a feeling most Christians consider x-mas>Easter, but I'm not christian so idk.

as a weird aside, the stock market was closed for good friday

Maybe. Yes, Christmas winds up being a bigger deal, and they may like it more, because of the entire holiday season and the gift exchanging and all that. I certainly like the Christmas season more than Easter, personally, because, well, it's more fun! But I'm also sure that most non-practicing Christians (I may very well be included in that, depending on how you define it, since we don't go to church very often) still know that Easter is the more important holiday, religiously speaking.

I'm not sure what we're even debating, though, since regardless of what was closed, they don't consider Easter a federal holiday. My Catholic hospital counts Good Friday as a holiday, though, so I have a long weekend. 🙂

I am up WAY too late... that's what I get for taking a nap this afternoon. But my make-ahead French toast is now in the oven and I am going to bed!

Also, TOP!

Mornin' '15. Can't believe I'm awake so early on a Sunday. Maybe I really should go to Disneyland today.

'morning! I'm ttly with you. Went to bed at 3am and woke up at 9:30am 😡
I really hate my wake up at 5:30am and go to bed at 10pm weekday schedule, 'cause I always mess with it on the weekend and then Monday is terrible

Yeah for sure. I guess I should be happy that waking up this early means tomorrow will be easy. The hard part will be to stay awake all day...🙂

I guess this means I need to start packing stuff up and cleaning. Blah.

I vote we both take a small nap at some point today.

Are you moving?

Yeah, eventually🙂 I have a lot of stuff so I am packing things slowly and donating/selling larger pieces of furniture and books and stuff.

good times! I'm not very excited to move all my stuffs 600 miles this summer :lame:

I have almost eight years of accumulated crap to get rid of. Bleah.

Everything I could find on Google said ~75% of the US population identifies themselves as some variety of Christian. At the very least, I couldn't find any evidence to the contrary. If you do, I'd be interested to see it.

I guess I meant 3/4 aren't practicing but the definition of such is a difficult one and it doesn't really matter. I also couldn't find numbers to refute yours, so I gotta apologize for that.

My argument didn't really deal with numbers anyways, but I respect everyone's beliefs and I'm not trying to judge anyone/ any religion. Instead of arguing, I'm just gonna take my little cousins on an egg hunt and eat their chocolates 😀

No apology necessary. 🙂 And that's the way to do it, LOL! We are all going to be sharing Chicklet's basket.

Oh, and BTW, the hubster found She-Ra on Netflix and now Chicklet is requesting it. "I wanna watch the princess ride the horsey! Hordak's mean!"

He's so proud.

Moving in the same city is a u-haul affair... moving across country is a multiple-day trip with months of packing and shipping and ridiculousness. I've done it about 8 times in my short life.

ahh so I better be dreading a 3000 mile trek

It's not the worst thing ever if you take it slow/scenic. Trying to bust it out as cheap/fast as possible is rough, though.

depends if you're moving your entire house or just what you need for school : ) yeah moving your entire house sucks hard
This is definitely it... I don't know how much furniture/electronics is going with me and how much is going with my brother/family this time.

Happy Easter! And Happy Sunday to anyone who doesn't celebrate Easter.

My sister and I decided we needed to dye some eggs for old times' sake. We had blue, yellow, and green food coloring but no red, so we attempted to make a red dye with pink sprinkles and cranberry juice. And then we dyed them with really odd combinations. Not the best eggs ever, but whatevs. I never claimed to be an artist.

She-ra had her own cartoons? Always thought of her as a supporting role in the He-man series.

Just got back from about 1200 miles (total) and I'm so glad to be home! Gotta do it again when I actually move all my stuff as well :uhno:.

Happy Easter 2015ers!

My sense of humor disturbs me sometimes.

Julie, those eggs look really good! I love the colors you chose. Looks like you were trying to get all artsy with that splotchy green one in the corner. Lol.

I miss dying eggs!

Hope everyone is having a great Easter! It's been a really laid back day for me. I'm about to go stroll around Downtown Disney with my husband, then we're coloring eggs (late, I know, but still fun!), and finally he's making some cornish hens for dinner *tasty*

Just got called a f-ing a-hole by a naked drunk at the hospital tonight my feelings are hurt 🙁
Aww sad. I feel like super drunk people usually say something along those lines though when you take a drink out of their hand... or in your case, probably when you shove a Foley in a sensitive place.
And glad that Keck second look went awesome for you guys. Did everybody do the Yard House thing or stay downtown? I 🙁'd when the emails started nitpicking the location for the dinner. Regardless, sounds like it was fun. And the band showed up, which rocks.
Yeah, that girl from the email does not seem too chill. (Sad but) true story: I was sitting with my friend from undergrad in the auditorium, and when the band came in playing Conquest, we both started tearing up. I think that song contains subliminal messages that only people that went there can hear.
LOL don't apologize...I have to make a conscious effort when I write someone's SDN username NOT to write their real name. It's bad...so no worries, I empathize!
It's tough! I've had quite a few near misses while posting on here.
Nobody's ever worked so hard to make elevator music.
 Badhorse made a funny.

Aww! I think they're cute! I really like the one that's got the white stripe near the top left.

She-ra had her own cartoons? Always thought of her as a supporting role in the He-man series.
She had her own spin-off that lasted for 2 seasons.

Thanks you two! It was totally fun, I hadn't dyed eggs in years. The green splotchy one was mine (not sure what I was going for there) and the one with the white strip was my little sister's.

OMG food coma...

Me too, until I realized I'd be riding home on a Vespa, wearing what appear to be womens' jeans. And that ain't worth a glass of Cab Sauv.

My cliffs: Mac users tend to think of themselves as cooler than they really are. PC users pretend that crappy things aren't quite as crappy as they really are.

Although there are a few things I like from the Mac column, I would swear off 80% of it.

Some of the PC column is embarrassing, but I can't hide how low-brow I am. Most of the time I am ignorant of my ignorance being bliss. But I would never drink white zin unless it was out of a box. srsly u guys, u guys srsly.

So funny. "This scene won't make the final cut of the movie."

👍 👍 ALL around.

Also, I hate all wine. And beer. I've never had a taste of either I've really liked. I like mixed drinks... and wussy things like Smirnoff Ice (which I always seem to crave when I'm pregnant 😡). I'm a sissy.
