Reactor Design
Unit Operations Lab
Separations Processes
Process Design Economics and Safety
Circuits
Circuits Lab
Bio Lab

16 credits

and maybe beginner jazz (again, 1 credit)
or beginner ballet (1 credit)
or try to find a class to TA that fits into my schedule ($$$$)

Isn't it sad that I consider the above to be an easy schedule? Should be a great semester =)

Over the summer I may take English 101 and I'm definitely taking a Western Civ class. =\
 
I've got to study for my molecular biology final... somehow my prof makes what should be interesting into something sooooo boring. Seriously I have to drink a triple size rockstar before class just to stay awake. This is the worst class I've ever had, hands down. Anyone else taking an incredibly boring class right now?

no, there's probably 300+ people in the class but our book isn't much better. We are basically tested on the ability to analyze test results or to determine what tests to run to get info. Feels like a lab class with tons of memorization thrown in for good measure.

Yeah, I'm on the quarter system. We go over material quick but atleast with classes like this we only suffer for 10 weeks instead of 16.

I know the biochemistry book I used last quarter is also used in the medical school here. I wonder if my molecular bio book is used also. . . I should find that out b/c if so then that sucks.

yeah i wish i went to school on the quarter system. why does that suck about the books though, you'll already be familiar with them.

Those books are the first ones in 4 years that I really haven't liked (mostly b/c they are just very dense with material I guess). So having to use them twice is. . . twice as painful.

btw the biochem book is Lehninger: Principles of Biochemistry
I'm sure some of you have used that one too.

I was going to post my results for the Jersey Shore thing, but that would just confirm the dirtiness even more.

i honestly believe my trip to india concluded a week after i returned, i finally have myself in step with my former hours and it feels better. this last week - terrible, just awful jet lag.

if you've got the time and the interest you'll probably find some of it pretty entertaining.
 
I'll be taking my last two pre reqs, one in the fall and one in the spring as well as MCAT in the early spring. I was thinking about taking a upper division bio each semester as well, but since I work full time, and in another town, I might not. My sGPA is a little better than my basic GPA. Both are below average....so taking a few extra classes would help. My school is offering Calc 1 and Calc 2 this summer, back to back, both 5 week sessions, starting in May and ending in July. Or I could take Alg 2 and Trig (5 credit class) then Calc 1. That would give me either eight or nine math credits and allow me to apply to more schools that require calc. I dunno.

My transcript is....colorful. I have a few Fs, a handful Ws. I once retook five classes that I got Bs in to get As. Yeah. I'm gonna have some serious explaining to do.

I'm definitely pumped on medicine....but I'm not sure its gonna work out for me. Im not at all against the DO route, or Caribbean really 🙂eek🙂. At least if it doesn't work, I can go NP. :xf:

Do you remember which page you left off on? I can't even remember when you left. I've lost track of all space and time this semester.

The reading goes by pretty quickly, but read it only if you're still jet-lagged and up.

ps- i have no idea what page we were on, i left like mid feb and got back a week ago or less, and just vegetated for the time being.
 
well i just think the issue is, you used the phrase 'thats what she said' at the wrong time. these things are gender specific, i would cook up an example but i have no functional ability at present.
