Feel free to ask questions about Mizzou's supplemental. It's really not too awful. Just break it down into manageable parts and you'll be fine (coming from the person who only applied to Mizzou, so take that with a grain of salt).

if i have more than 3 evaluations does anyone know if i can specify to schools that ONLY look at 3 which 3 LORs i want them to look at ?

I was wondering that as well. CSU at least makes that easy for you since they have to be the same three that do your PPI's but I'm not sure about the rest. =/

Woohoo! Just submitted my Iowa State and Illinois supplementals! I got sick of looking at my essays and figured I should just do it. Now to just get that pesky CSU supp and VMCAS in.

I don't know how other schools work but Ohio State (since they will only look at three anyway) has a place on the supplemental to specify which LORs you want them to look at.

Your best bet is to call the individual schools and find out. From what I hear most schools are more than happy to help out if you call and ask a question =)

I mailed my supplemental card on Sept 9th and it was processed on the 16th, so I would think it would be showing up soon, unless they are getting bombarded and might just be a little backed up. Plus, it's the weekend, so a lot of banks don't generally post updates until Monday...I think.

Totally understandable. That's why I sent mine off early since Penn's my #1 choice. I would just be terrified if they accidentally cashed both checks, although I guess that is still the better option than missing the deadline.

OK, I am totally freaking out! I am still working on my personal statement. I was having a difficult time putting my thoughts and what I wanted to say on paper. Now, its crunch time, and while my writer's block seems to have gone away (I'm a stress worker), I am still totally nervous about the whole process...

I feel like I'm too calm right now. I think it's because this is my 2nd time applying, but I still feel like I should be freaking out more. I just pretty much need to pay for VMCAS to send my application to Wisconsin and then I only have Mizzou and Tufts to worry about, which aren't due for a month and most of it's done already. I'm sure I'll start freaking out in a month though when it officially sinks in...as well as when I get my bank statement and want to cry.

The bank statement wouldn't be too bad if the next payment for my online animal nutrition class wasn't due by the 15th...

I'm with ya! Been dragging my feet on my PS and sent it to my pre-med friend (she already got in, so I figured she was the best bet). I have all day tomorrow without work. But I felt like an idiot writing it haha!

I don't remember which school it was...it actually may have been Penn. But I sent 2 checks because one got lost (USPS lost it for about three weeks). The school deposited both checks and I never got money from one of them back. Just wanted to share that so you don't get upset if they cash both.

My most important reference took until last night to submit. I was to the point of pulling my hair out! Earlier in the week, she submitted my Tufts request. Even though that's not due 'till a long time. When I got the email from VMCAS, I felt like doing cartwheels around the room.

They'll get there! Just try not to stress yourself out as much as I did.

Done and done! I only had to deal with TMDSAS since I put all my eggs in the Texas A&M basket and it was due yesterday at 5PM. My supplemental was due yesterday, as well. All my fees and supporting documents are in, except for one LOR. But they allow until 10/7 for those to come in. I'm worried, though, because it's my most important LOR--an admission committee member! She's already made contact to assure me that it would be sent out...yet it hasn't shown up in the system yet. Hopefully that'll change on Monday!

hehe i decided NOT to spend the $60 to fedex penn another supp app + check after much persuading from my sister and mom...they told me the admissions office would be super annoyed trying to figure out if it was from the same person or not lol and that i was just freaking out too much. i sent the supp app more than a week before it was due and it only went from dc --> philly...

i will definitely be checking my bank account rabidly next week though...i think this whole process has made me a bit loopy

Then he called this afternoon and asked me about the alarm for the hospital and I asked how the letter was going and he repeated basically the same thing and said he'd finish it tomorrow. I think he is getting a touch forgetful. I guess I can't get mad since I don't have my VMCAS in yet...I'm waiting until the last moment too.

depends on the school, but I would say your chances are slim (that they'll overlook it even if they consider your other credentials). If you have the money to burn, you could always try.
