Really? Living in SoCal, I'd want to go to Disneyland like everyday, but I is broke. If my kids want to go to Disneyland, I'd be like "why didn't you say so already"

Disneyland is expensive and overrated.

If you took out half the people and paid me $10 I might go a couple times a year.

Is it cheaper to go there than to go to the US ones? Going to the ones in the US are just redic....

Also, I am thinking about going to Hong Kong this winter. How doable is it for two white people who speak zero Chinese? (Do they speak mandarin or cantonese there??)
 
Anyone use swype on their droids? I have had a droid for about a year and accidentally turned in on yesterday.... seems cool but is it faster than normal typing?

I don't remember the price...I think it was comparable though, but not sure.

Hong Kong is really cool and they will speak both mandarin and cantonese there. Cantonese is more native, but everyone there will speak both fluently. Everyone in China speaks mandarin now as mandated by the communist government. Depending on where you stay, you should be fine with English only. Expect to pay more though, since the places that are more English speaking tend to be more geared towards tourists.

Hong Kong is a very cool place with an interesting history...no other city in China is like it.

My chinese friend just told me it is going to be just as eexpensive as europe so I dunno if I can swing it...eh.

I was there a few weeks ago. It was my least favorite of the 4 Disney parks. Soarin' was kind of cool, but the Harry Potter ride at Universal was wayyyy better.
 
this has to be the worst Monday I've had in months. everything is just wrong today. I want to go home, curl up in my blanket, and eat gummy raspberries for the rest of the day.

I remember being terrified of the backdraft attraction when I was little. I had recently seen the movie and was expecting something like that to happen.

I've used it a few times, but got tired of it. Good old typing for me.


Also, my Evo is a piece of crap now. Really looking into the S2 as a replacement.

🙁 I'm so sorry! I know that feel....I have a final on Wednesday I haven't started studying for, two papers to edit, and an hour presentation to make and do before Friday. It's going to suck working when everyone is celebrating being done 🙁

I hope your day gets better!

omg, yes. i was terrified of backdraft!!

major sleep deprivation because my roommate's cat cried at my door for half an hour til he got tired and needed a break... but came back after 20 minutes of catching his breath. this cycle went on for 5 hours.
 
and then I realized they didn't lift parking restrictions and i have to pay TEN DOLLARS to park in the employee/visitors lot. 😡
