Hey, anyone know how long the methods section should be for a poster? I've never done one before and I'm not sure if I'm being too succinct or too verbose.

This isn't a journal submission. Be very clear and deliberate.

Try to include pictures of protocol or procedure where possible.

Me too 🙁 I really, really want some curry. When I was in London I had this naan with a coconut paste in the middle, it was soooo delicious. Haven't had it since 🙁

I've noticed lately that there are a ton of self-serve frozen yogurt places popping up. Red Mango, Yogurtini, Yogurtland, etc.

peshwari naan? That's when the naan is filled with stuff like raisins and nuts. I believe many people put coconut in it as well.

I just went there for the first time the other day.

For anyone that has been to Red Mango and Yogurtini, have you noticed that they are pretty much the exact same store? Same toppings and everything, especially the stranger ones like mochi.

Yeah! This one was just coconut, but raisins and nuts sound like they'd be good in there too!

Hmm never heard of yogurtini. The only one we have back home is Red mango, but it's not self serve 🙁 And the closest one to campus is a 2.5 hour drive....so sad.

Thai naan and Indian naan are slightly different. Thai tends to be more flat and crispy, whereas Indian is more puffy and doughy. Both are delicious 😍 especially garlic naan, mmmmm

They closed my favorite thai place back home 🙁 Missouri is just too "meat and potatoes" for international cuisine.

That's weird, there's a Red Mango here and it's definitely self-serve. They even have little sample cups so you can try all of them first. I could probably eat my fill on those alone.

Interesting. I've been to Thai and Indian restaurants, but have never had naan that's too flat/crispy. I like the soft, poofy kind. And yes, garlic naan is delicious!

There used to be a place near my house called Bollywood Bistro, and they had a giant TV on which they played bollywood movies you could watch while you ate 🙂 It was awesome, but it closed.

Yeah most Red mangos are self serve except the older ones. The one by my house opened many years ago. But when I go to visit my bf, he has a self serve Red mango really close by so I force him to take me :meanie: (he's not a fan of sweets 😱 )

That's unfortunate. Maybe I'm being blasphemous, but I think Coldstone is vastly overrated... they're the Chipotle of the ice cream world. The mom n' pop shops do it best.
 
VERIFIED!!!! 😀 😀 😀 Finally! I was po'ed all day yesterday because no one was getting verified. Woke up this morning to find the verification notification email and SLU's secondary invite in my inbox. What an excellent feeling. 🙂 I think I'll submit that secondary today. It was so frustrating for the last three weeks to be stuck in limbo!

YUM. 😍 Boulder has its own random local self-serve froyo places. We don't have the chains. But I'm pretty sure they're the same. They have mochi which I love!

I loooove curry. 😍 Thai curry is my fav, but any kind of curry is delicious. The best curry I ever had was in Edinburgh, at this place called the Mosque Kitchen. It actually was the kitchen of the local mosque, they just sold curry for really cheap. They were always closed on Friday afternoons for prayer. I wish I could go back to Edinburgh, it's the best city I've ever visited.

I love both Chipotle and Qdoba, but Qdoba is better because it has mole sauce and mango salsa (even though I have to pick the cilantro out of the mango salsa). Also it has bomb quesadillas. The best, though, is a local Colorado chain called Illegal Pete's, which is the best because it mixes the burrito ingredients before wrapping up the burrito! So you don't just get one bite of all rice and tortilla.


Also, ice cream is definitely better than froyo, because there is more fat and sugar. I do love Coldstone, but it isn't my favorite. There was this amazing ice cream shop in Georgetown called T. Sweet's (I think Thomas Sweet's was the real name) that had baller ice cream and mix-ins, way better than Coldstone's. And my friend went to NC State for a couple years, so I visited her once or twice. They have a dairy on campus and make the richest, most amazing full-fat ice cream ever. Soooo good. I'm drooling just thinking about it. 😍
