terrible. Sure wouldn't want to have it happen to me.

My worst experience came from shadowing in high school.Necrotizing fasciitis on a scrotum plus the guy had incontinence problems. Problem two occurred during the visit and got all over the room. The doctor said i turned white. I think i passed out while standing up :laugh:

I KNOW! I felt my own boys crawling up into my kidneys to be safe. I saw everything. It was like a rotting anatomy diagram of the area

Lol @ maubs. It actually wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I didn't even feel nauseated. Still wouldn't call it cool, though. Not an experience I wish to repeat.

Agreed. I got to see one of my friends gangrenic(word?) intestines when he got ischemia. not pleasant
 
I hate the smell of gangrene ugh makes the whole place stink

New to this thread, but I expect to be a frequent visitor. I'm supposed to be working on secondaries right now... getting my MCAT score yesterday pretty much killed my desire to do any work haha

How common is necrotizing fasciitis? I thought it was fairly rare but I keep hearing people on SDN talking about seeing cases of it.

My legs are sore from laser tag 🙁 I obviously need to exercise more, or take laser tag less seriously.

Usually only the immuno-compromised contract it. So its common in that regard...


Aww laser tag is so much fun. Never take laser tag anything less than seriously. its training for combat against our eventual alien overlords

I usually played it with slaps only anyways :laugh: Though in laser tag they really don't appreciate it when you slap the other players... especially when they're children.
