Haha. I did toss my notes from my post-bacc classes... but I did also scan them in first. Some things I hate to part with...especially since I have an awesome scanner.

Moving is always a good time for purging... but there's so much to purge when one has stayed put for so long.

Ahhhh I take notes in a revolutionary manner... I convert all the slides/PDFs into a OneNote type application for macs, then I type all the notes right underneath the slide. Highlight the slide etc.

Then I print out the annotated notes after class to further annotate and stuff during studying. I'm weird... I have an obsession with those flags. You know... these

Also, I just wanted to say... HOW FREAKING EASY THE PCAT IS!

My friend is currently studying for it. He comes over earlier with his study books so that he can ask me some G-chem stuff. I must say... that test is a joke. As in... you could prepare for 2 weeks and be OK. You prepare for the MCAT for 2 weeks? Well chances are you will bomb and get a 23.

I'm a traditional pen-and-paper type of person. Probably because most of my classes in undergrad don't lend themselves to easy note-taking on the computer (math and diagrams) and PowerPoint was still in its infancy as far as misuse.

If the lecture slides are available, I'll print them out and annotate/take notes on them by hand. Then scan. Obviously a tablet seems like the obvious choice, but I still think the technology isn't comparable with pen and paper.

Scanning is too much work and effort. ahaha besides... I need to look trendy with my macbook and black sunglasses.

So in case anyone is wondering why I say things like wrote the MCAT... or eh... or whatever else that may give away my Canadian roots. That's because I grew up in Montreal. With stints in Toronto, and then finally Detroit... yeah talk about a downgrade.

I don't have an accent really... but when I go back to Montreal, I speak like this...

Texas4m got banned eh? Interesting...

Yeah, and then the guy has the nerve to post 5 minutes later

Why did OP get banned? I actually was wondering this too, im a frequent lurker and some people on here are just brutally mean.

From his account serendipitously created today

Instead of wrote the MCAT, what am I (er, Americans) supposed to say?

Also... this video makes me jizz in my pants.

Think about it... 50 trillion cells that make up your body... interacting, communicating... all in harmony. Until something goes wrong... that's where we come in...

Kind of poetic no?

My high school bio teacher played this clip every other class, because it was almost always relevant. I still enjoy it 🙂

I have an urge to set fire to many things after reading some of dubaifans "everything is agains teh medical profssion, oh noez" posts.

I was going to say "just make sure you don't set fire to your cash," but maybe your cash will be no more valuable than kindling soon enough.
