Plus, I hope when I get my interview at tulane :xf: the person speaks french. And they can appreciate the nuances of the language with me.

For real? Anyone else a night owl?

I'm not scared of call in med school or residency. I sleep 4 hours in 2 days I got it covered.

My one friend is all dermo all the time. wants to work 9-5 and hates missing sleep. Says he needs 10 hours minimum to function.

i work 8-5 mon-friday. no matter how much sleep i get from 3-10 hours, i still wake up tired as hell and leave work tired as hell. 😴

i had insomnia 2 weeks before 6/21 worrying about my mcat score being a 25K :scared:

25K would have been a devastating blow. But not the end of the world. MCAT scores can be improved.

studying for the mcat was one of the most frustrating things I had ever done.

terrible verbal comprehension, half of my studying taken up to get a 9 at the end.
fights with my significant other, not spending enough time with her. weeks off my study schedule.
working and then trying to study after work...

oh and top of that, im in CA and i had to drive to AZ 5 hour drive to take the damn test. 😡

but i was SO HAPPY when i got my score, i almost puked my taco tuesdays 😀

And I feel ya on the hell that is studying for the MCAT, especially when we work too. I so hope it was worth it, i don't want a 25K :scared::scared::scared::scared:
 
Do they have good mexican restaurants in michigan? i live in SD and it has incorporated into my diet.

when do you get your score?

i pushed my test back several times because of other problems (my life is filled with tragedies) and the closest available was AZ. FML

many people i were rooting for in the 5/21/11 club didn't do well as they expected. it's crazy because my score is 5+ higher than my last 5 aamcs.

I remember the day I got my score... I was literally scared out of my pants. I couldn't handle it. I took benadryl to sleep through most of the day.
Then I woke up, checked, wasn't there. Looked again. And there it was... I screamed, I cried, I laughed, I hit refresh like 80 times to make sure it was real.

Hahaha.

hours before the test results, I was very moody and my PI annoyed the crap out of me and he could tell I was stressed out so he stayed 50 feet away from me.

I took the June 16th test, so I still have some waiting. I think its on the 19th of July or something, I don't know. I don't even know where I go to check my score either. I'm so freaking nervous only because my AAMCs all kept rising, but weren't at a level I'd like, mainly due to PS. Who knows, maybe I'd get a 5+ bump in score too 🙄

tell u the truth i thought i was gonna get in a range of 28-30.

I thought i killed my PS section like a 13-14 but got an 11.
thought i bombed VR, suprisingly easy to read, got the jitters from caffeine rush, skipped 5 questions from all over the section, skipped through passages, i thought it was the end of my chances for medical school, aamc range was 5-8, got a 9
thought i bombed BS as well, finished with 8 mins left because i was like "screw it", thought about voiding it, thought i was gonna get 9-10, got a 12.
writing was so fun, i wrote about articles i read in the economist. got a Q, no practice, and my syntax is terrible. Codeblu as well as all my readers for my PS can vouch.

Your syntax isn't THAT bad. I've seen way worse. But I'm glad I was able to help make your ideas more clear.

It's kind of disturbing 😱

(well not my first draft, I wrote that at like 4am in 2 hours, maybe like my 3rd draft)

I love chips ahoy! these reeses chips are very good..... I'm probably going to get diabetes if I don't start exercising...

There's no one section that I feel like I killed, only because I'm really aversive to saying that and having it be the opposite that happens. My PS was killer though and not because of not really understanding the content but mostly because the questions/passages were ridiculous. I felt like voiding right after but I stuck through it and it got a lot more manageable after. Here's to hoping it turns out better than I think it will. Still have like 3 weeks before I get my score back
