Yup, I submitted with one school. Southern Illinois, which I had no chance of getting in anyway because I'm from the Chicagoland haha.

So if you submit with one school and you don't end up applying, you'll still be considered a reapplicant overall since you have technically applied to medical school before. It's just that none of the schools will have seen your application before, so I don't really know what kind of effect it will have 🙁 I'm sure it's something you could explain on secondaries though...

Ouch. Have you considered spending an extra year in school to boost your GPA? That's thinking a little far into the future, but it seems like you're still a little unsure about what you want to do after college (i.e. taking the GRE), and taking an extra year of college to flesh things out might be worth it in the long run.
