This. Nothing worked for me. Finally I was prescribed Rymed. No idea what it is bit it did the trick.
I believe it's a formulation of two or three antihistamines/decongestants.

Not just to play devil's advocate to the people just starting classes, but it ain't so bad. I am surprised how much free time I have despite studying my ass off.
I still have time for SDN.
Yet, I get nervous, I feel like I'm not studying enough. My roommate will literally get home from class (around 3), plop done in front of computer, and not get up until after midnight. I barely study five-six hours on a good day (this weekend I only did about 4 hours each day). I'm bound to perform average, aren't I?![]()

Thats me too. Don't worry. You'll be fine. If you start to slip, up your time. Thats all!
The thing is, I know almost all of the stuff we're covering now ( biochem) so I don't feel like I need to put that much time in. Am I just being stupid?
Hello, friend. Please get Snapchat so I can Snapchat you always. kthnxbye

I've barely been studying. All the stuff I thought I didn't learn in undergrad... well apparently I learned it. I've been spending an hour or two a day thumbing through it and looking at the specifics. Did great on the practice tests, so I guess I'm good?
#1) I think this might've been a mistake, coming back to SDN. LoL
#2) I soooo feel like I've not been studying enough.
All of the biochem stuff is familiar and seems easy. Remembering insertions, origins, innervations, and vasculature on the other hand? Not so much...
The struggles this morning.
Eh, there's way more work now, but at least there isn't so much awkward mingling at inopportune times when you just want to take a nap.

This. I hit my snooze 3 times this morning.
Bright side: I took my final and now I have my first A in med school!
Hit the off instead of snooze and woke up fifteen minutes before class. Had to get professionally dressed and haul my ass to class in ten minutes.
Words you will regret saying![]()
I commend your abilities. I'd have missed the class. Ha.
Movies in med school class /=good idea
I think 3/4 of the class jumped ship before it was halfway over.
I have gone to zero non-mandatory lectures to date. I have no plans to increase that figure.
So many Anki cards..
Remember those days when this thread used to go through like 4-5 pages in a single day...we had all the free time.

I think I'm gaming tonight instead of studying. Whatup

My gaming nights have been replaced with debilitating alcoholism.

Jealous. Get it!
The new splinter cell game came free with my new video card. It's pretty fun.
