Class of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
me neither! it would be 100 new cards per day, 5 days per week, 16 weeks. Help me jeebus.
Would those 100 cards be things that you don't know yet and need to memorize or does that include things you already know and trying to not forget?

I love not being able to feel my face after being outside for like 5 minutes...
Or have a glass if water freeze solid in just a few minutes? Or have the inside of your nose freeze if you inhale to quickly? Or have trees explode in the middle of the night due to cold?
Talking about it makes me kind of miss the real cold. Kind of...

Both.

When do you start back up, tomorrow?

So tons of my classmates might not be back for the first day due to this storm. Oh, winter..

One is apparently stuck in Frankfurt until the 8th?
For serious?

It's not even raining for us in Seattle. I walked outside a little while ago and it was still well above freezing temperatures. I am still not looking forward to school tomorrow.

Speaking of which, I have an online quiz to do tonight for class. Lame.

Are the First Aid Organ Systems and General Principles books worth getting?

Both were posted in the Facebook group, so you might as well check them out. I have browsed through them, and they seem pretty useful.

Why was this thread on the second page? I am dissapoint.

Also, I can't imagine what med school was like before the internet. Especially for anatomy. It makes studying so much easier.

Yeah med school pre internet would have been a nightmare.

Med school pretty much started today. Last quarter it was like review from undergrad. Today, immuno got real and I have a feeling biochem is also going to be bad and musculoskeletal starts later today.

This quarter will be bad, but hopefully enjoyable.

Wait, weren't you done with anatomy?

Just with head, neck, thorax, abdomen and pelvis.

Now we have musculoskeletal. Next quarter is neuro (but luckily no dissection for neuro).

... I honestly didn't know musculoskeletal was its own system... since you essentially cover all that in anatomy. Physio stuff maybe?

We did a musculoskeletal system block but anatomy wasn't really included. It was its own class. We finished gross last semester and now we are doing neuro.

MSK in retrospect was really straightforward. You'll enjoy it, I hope.

Thank god we have no dissection for neuro. That would suckkkkkkk.

Whoa whoa whoa.. I have a dissection for neuro. Haha. I hope it's not going to be that bad.

This is our lecture slide. I can't focus on what it is supposed to be about because all I see is a frowning Snoo (the reddit alien) that commits suicide.

I was going to do so much studying tonight.

But then I just spent like 40 minutes on histo and wasted the rest of my night on the internet.

...and I ain't even mad.
