How do you like the Nexus 10? I was going to get it but got the Nexus 7 instead. Love my 7; I can't imagine anything bigger.

I'm about to buy my wife a 10 for Christmas so would be interested in impressions as well. She has a galaxy phone but an apple comp (MacBook air). Anyone know if there's a way to sync iCal and all those things?

Am I the only one who didn't let senioritis get to me and actually tried this semester? I only did so just incase I got put on a waitlist (which did happen at one of my schools) so I could update them with another semester of good grades (Which may happen depending on this next week)

I absolutely love it! You'll notice that most of my posts (with the ironic exception of this one) are from that device, and thats not an accident. I use the Nexus 10 for absolutely everything because I'm treating it as a laptop replacement during my gap year to extend the life of my undergrad laptop. I initially had an ASUS Infinity and was underwhelmed by its performance (or at least the performance I had envisioned for it before I purchased it). I knew a Nexus device would near-perfectly with its software, so as soon as the Nexus 10 came out, I knew I had to have it. I've had zero complaints about it, from its solid build quality to the speedy software performance you're enjoying on the Nexus7 (I'm sometimes still amazed how everything happens seemingly instantly). Almost got the 7, but was worried that 7" would be too close to the 4.65" screen of my GNexus.

Anyone else somewhat stressed about background checks? I know (hope) mine is clean since I recently got hired in a hospital, but I'm still paranoid.

I use my 7 for pretty much everything, too! I use it a lot for comic book reading, so I thought the 10 would have been too heavy.uncomfortable to read with while laying in bed.

I've also had zero problems with the 7. I love it, and it's definitely one of the "on a whim" purchases that I really don't regret at all.
 
Really considering a MBA. Anyone have one? Love it? Hate it?

I was trying hard
but like I said Molecular Biology at our school is a straight scale 90%=A- 93%=A
and the average is a C+. Oh and it's also a required class for many majors.


Also I found out I was in to one of my top choice on Oct. 15.

Isn't the average for exams always a C/C+? And isn't an A always 90%+? either way who cares! You're in 🙂

Oh, I tried. I just had to leave town for interviews during 5 weeks of a 10-week term, including the weeks before my midterms and finals. I'm bad at studying on airplanes.
 
The 2016ers are more than a thousand pages ahead of us. Step it up!

SPEAK OF THE DEVIL! My Nexus won't boot up and is just stuck on the X logo. Ugh. Factory reset didn't work. Called Google, and now I need to send it in... Hopefully I get a replacement......... FML.

Still love the Nexus 7, though.

EDIT: In other news, I was pleasantly surprised by how good Google customer service is. The rep that talked to me was so nice!

I don't know. I updated to Jelly Bean a couple of weeks ago with no problem. I just randomly decided to restart my device today, and then it wouldn't boot! Ugh.

Anyone use Tapatalk app to browse SDN? I've never used the SDN app. For someone who has used both, which is better?

Yea SDN is on the tapatalk platform. Tapatalk is better if you use multiple forums.

Awwww. I'm a sucker for that crap. So many schools don't try at all and just don't care how rude they are to applicants/recently accepted students. It makes me wonder if they're that hostile to their current students.

Which reminds me, I have to go to the store and get some more thank you cards. I am such a procrastinator when it comes to those.

I know! Compared to my other schools, Jeff is pulling out all the stops to reel me in. Maybe I can ask for a new watch from them.... :idea:

There was just a Marvel Now! (referring to the comic company) category on Jeopardy five minutes ago. The contestants barely knew anything, and I just yelled at the screen, "WHAT IS DEADPOOL, YOU IDIOTS!!!!"
