You do legs and back on the same day?

Yeah. I haven't had time this semester to workout each day so I combine stuff since I at least can workout 3x a week. Takes more time but at least I have that time free.

EDIT: I might add it's kind of a carryover from doing P90X too. One of their ways of splitting it up is like this.

Though now I've weaned myself down to squatting and dead lifting only 2x/week. 😳

I really only started squatting recently, but if I'm understanding Madcow correctly this routine won't really benefit you unless you're squatting 300ish pretty easily (which I'm not). I've been sticking to this for the past month:

I was doing 5x5 for a while but started to plateau, so I switched to this which has been great so far.

I would recommend Stronglifts. And loads of stretching/flexibility but that's another issue.
 
This is so weird. I no longer TA anatomy... I have done it for so long and now it is over. I kind of feel empty.

Oh well, I will fill the emptiness with alcohol next week on the days I would have TA'd.
