+1

Though, according to the orientation folks, I'm going to be an anxious, depressed, and overly- stressed person come this time next week.

Off to Yosemite for a week. If you don't see me by Friday alert the authorities.

I hate pancakes.

So we have our first exam this morning. The irony is that they are serving us free pancakes for breakfast to commemorate the day. Wondering if the M2s are playing a joke on us

Please explain pancakes to me

Someone help me out here. There is a youtube vid explaining how med school is like having to eat a serving of pancakes everyday. It's a metaphor for keeping up with the material, studying etc. If you eat them daily, you'll do just fine. If you fall behind in eating, you'll find yourself needing to eat a whole lot of pancakes in one unpleasant sitting. And that's when things start to suck.

I think it came up in the first Fireside chat (a la NickNaylor and mmmcdow (or however you spell that).

But what about Cloze deletion cards?

It honestly takes me less time to type a blank line in one of the columns and/or type another card reversing the front and back in excel than using features like that in Anki. There may be a way to do that though. I just started using Anki so I'm still trying to find the best way to utilize it.

Ctrl-Shift-C on highlighted segment bro. Add Alt if you want to Cloze delete them together.

Volunteered at the free clinic today. Took a history/did an interview for the first time ever.. feeling impostor syndrome big time. Great learning experience though!
