I'm class of 19 i think and I'm kinda scared to see that these are gonna be my class mates.. I'm a junior in college and decided to switch majors so I'm behind now. I'm cramming all the hard science classes together in this year and next year then taking the mcat straight after in the summer of 15. Kinda worried about the new mcat.

New SDN layout is weird.

Small update my fellow '19ers.

Took the free AAMC 3 a few weeks back. Had two classes, 4 hrs of sleep, and an apple the whole day. Never took orgo (taking it now), did horrible in physics (B+ and C) and don't remember half of gen chem. I got a 26. 8 PS, 8 VS, 10 BS. I felt pleasantly surprised that at my absolute worst I can score that. Upon telling others, people starting telling me how AAMC 3 is the easiest and least representative practice exam, how its only going to get worse from here, how my score is a fluke, and how when I try to actually cram 4 years of scientific content I will burn out so... "yea yea yea bro, wait and you'll see". Made me feel really crappy to say the least.

Its middle of the semester, orgo 1 is getting annoying and kicking my butt. All my other classes are eh, and I still can't articulate in English (or any language) why I want to be a physician so that I can finally join my prehealth committee. Registration for next semester is Monday and I am only taking 13 credits (everyone else is bragging about their 21 credit semesters) so that I have room to study for MCAT. But even then, its orgo 2, biostats, and biochem... so 13 credits is hardly any freaking leeway in terms of study time considering all my commuting/study time. Won't have a life next semester. Feeling pretty low. Everything sucks. Must be the mid-autumn blues.

How are you guys fairing? Applications are due in 7-8 months. 🙁
