Hi i'm applying this cycle! but i'm lacking clinical experience! however i'm submitting application soon and i was wondering if i do more clinical after I submit, how do I let med schools know so they won't make me down for super low clinical experience? Also if i get clinical exp during the next semester, would that help a lot?

i actually tried to find clinical experience over major breaks but i couldn't find any hospital within 1.5 hrs away that accept volunteers so all I have right now is ~30 hrs of half volunteer/half shadow in doctors office and i worked in ER admitting department for 300 hrs but all I did that was patient contact was translating language... and occasional guiding patients..
i also worked in Mt sinai over a summer but that was in junior year of HS and i can't put it on!!! so sad!

If you can smell patients, it is a clinical experience. Three hundred hours in the ER is great particularly if you were guiding patients an acting as an interpreter some of the time.

300 hrs in an ER translating and doing other stuff isn't bad. Continue doing what you can and you can update schools with a letter. Have you already submitted? Under whatever section you put your ER time, just say x hours per week from x date until present. In the comments mention that you will continue to do it x hours per week until x date.
