Just adding one more data point to the opinion tally: I think social work is the way to go if you are 100% clinically minded. More employment opportunities, more reimbursement opportunities.

Seems to be a lower ceiling though in some arenas. At least in my state system and the previous one i worked in, they cap out real quick and pretty low compared to psychologists. I guess the question is, is the extra schooling, years of not making money, and headaches from schooling (and possibly debt) worth the extra 30-40k/year.
