I’ve been a vegetarian at random times in my life. It usually lasts less than a week.
I have been a full time continuous vegetarian for 10 years.

More power to you. I just like the occasional burger too much. I probably eat a burger once or twice a month, and I eat chicken maybe two or three times a month. Other than that, if I’m thinking about it, I’m mostly vegetarian.

Hey friend . I too have been having a hard time sleeping with difficulty getting to sleep and maintaining sleep. Hang in there , we are almost done .
Had a nightmare last night that Costco was selling plates where you could scratch out a gold label and it would reveal if you matched. Of course they were sold out and everyone was freaking out.

How’s everyone spending this longest Sunday ever? Personally I’ll be hitting some golf balls and getting a much needed massage (with masks obvi)
I slept in hard. Now to do some yard work. Maybe wash the cars. Basically anything where I can tap the keg and crank the Seger without seeing a clock.
Hitting some golf balls as well. Doing some house work (cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc) and watching some hoops.

Gym then COD Zombies with the boys online all day, basically my normal day as an post IV season M4
I have had daily stress poos and poor sleep related to The Match for about 3 weeks now. This is the most stress I can imagine.
I just woke up. I was up late last night playing online Cards against humanity game with some SDN peeps from the Werewolf games I play on the vet forums.
I wish I had tomorrow off from my sub-I so I could do whatever I want today and sleep in until the email tomorrow. But alas I don’t so my goals for today are to do laundry (because I have to lol) and to go to my favorite movie theater to see Chaos Walking.
I just woke up. I was up late last night playing online Cards against humanity game with some SDN peeps from the Werewolf games I play on the vet forums.

By the way....are you all going to ask for Friday off from your clerkships? Since match day is cancelled, I'm thinking our school's official policy is that we're supposed to be at our site like any other day. I have a feeling if I phrase my request like, "Friday is match day, do you want me to still come in?" to my preceptor, he'll probably tell me to take the day off.
Total BS if your school isn’t giving you the day off. I wouldn’t even phrase it as a request, just tell them that Friday is match day so you’ll see them Monday.
I’m of the opinion that this week is my week and anything else is irrelevant. Don’t mess with your school just ask your attending for tomorrow and Friday off cuz let’s be real, we’re all going to be useless tomorrow and Friday

I got pre approved for a physician and FHA. I’m hoping to match in my hometown and would be interested in buying a multi unit home if the opportunity presents itself. My gestalt is physician loan for 2 or less units and FHA if it is a 3 or 4 unit home

That’s awesome, good luck! Did you have to provide any documentation or anything for the physician loan?
Just general financial information (bank statements, tax return, W2, etc). Will need some sort of proof of employment (Match letter, sample contract form residency, etc) prior to putting down an offer on a place
Did you get approval by location , or is this approval good for any where if you match elsewhere?

Spoke to a friend tonight who had similar stats to mine and did a surgery prelim. Got zero interviews this cycle. He said he’s been deeply depressed and intermittently suicidal most of the season. So I’m officially following in the shoes of @SLC and soaping FM if it’s bad news tomorrow. Was tempted to even soap IM, but if I’m gonna do this I want to at least have the potential of delivering babies in rural Appalachia. We’ll see, but I feel like Heavenly Father is looking out for my fam. Everything will be okay.
