Does anyone know if most med schools both Canadian (such as UBC) and US accept English courses taken at the college (as opposed to university credit) to fulfill the pre-req? The course options are limited.

Yeah, as long as the college is an accredited college there should be no problem!
I am taking most of my pre-medical courses at a local community college and then transferring to take upper level courses at this other University. As long as the courses transfers.
