Too much hatin' and lovin' going on at once on this thread. I'm so confused.

Wouldn't it be funny if both Tissy AND DJ ended up at Columbia??? That would freak some people OUT!

And it took me about 10 minutes to figure out what "walaaaaa" was...

By the way Amsie, I had fume but there's none left..it's all gone for some reason..LOL..take care guys and good luck on all your interviews...I think I had enough on this thread..:barf:

To all of you out there who get an interview at Columbia, I just found out they had a website going

This is a bunch of he said and she said story. And this is between him, her and Adcom. It is not likely that anybody push Adcom to accept somebody they do not like or reject somebody that they really do like and feel compatible. After all Adcoms are not naive and they know what they are doing. So no worries.

Anyway by having a cool name such as fightingspirit and a cool signature that is really inspiring and a lot of interesting posts, It was far surprising to me that you attacked this guy through his believes. People have different cultures and believe and use those to help them keep going. Of course as a professional you already know this. But let move our emotions away in this situations and keep having respect for all believes and religions in the word.

how did words of our class website spread out....no wonder we already received a spam post in the class discussion forum already....

anyway, if you are interested in coming to Columbia, you can also check out our class schedule linked from the front page of the 2010 website to get a feeling of what 1st year is like.

hey infinite, how's life?....i saw some of the pics....looks like you guys are enjoying the city....cool
 
hey man. we try to enjoy the city as much as possible, but with like 7 exams coming up in the next month, i don't think we'll party as much until after the exams...so yeah, that kinda sucks. But yeah, life is alright, a ton of studying to catch up and a bunch of teeth to wax up during the thanksgiving break, but I think i'll survive.

as far as the pictures, yeah, i'm in a few of the pictures. I won't tell you who i am for privacy reasons. And yes, the cameraman is Asian...but then again, there are a ton of Asians in Columbia so Asians are hard to miss in this school.

i kinda noticed that too. not only are there no white people, but no other ethnicities are represented either.

it's just an observation, people. i don't want anyone getting offended. 🙄

I doubt ur obervations correct. I think one of their album is some kind of asian association event, but everything else has good numbers of black, whites and hispanics.

The cameraman's asian. Hence the predominance of asian girls in the photos. Check out the other albums. Two white girls, one black girl, and two blatantly homosexual men [who aren't at the school]. Very diverse. 😎

to clarify things a bit, yes, the CADA and KADSA photo album is for an asian association event. CADA meaning Chinese American Dental Association and KADSA meaning Korean American Dental Students Assoc (I think). Also, considering Asians represent almost half of the population of the class, it's inevitable that there will be Asians in the photo albums. Overall speaking, our class is very diverse and everyone gets along well.
