Trying to figure out how much study time to take for step 2. Did well on step 1 and will be aiming for high 250s/low 260s on step 2.

Been doing well on comats; 1-1.5 standard deviation above mean. Is there any correlation between this and step 2 scores? Any advice on how long to take and should it be completely dedicated? i.e. not during a rotation

Here is an article about correlation, though it doesn't really help much.

Relationships Between the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Achievement Test (COMAT) Subject Examinations and the COMLEX-USA Level 2-Cognitive Evaluation | The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association

N=1, but here is mine.
Step 1 240, Level 1 652
COMATs
Psych 109
Peds 110
IM 107
Surgery 103
EM 107
OBGYN 110
FM 110
OMM 127
Step 2 252, Level 2 739

I took 4 weeks to study for Step/Level 2 and took my PE during that span as well. Dedicated time, not on a rotation but definitely studied fewer hours per day than for Step 1. A lot of the exam is IM/OB/Peds, so if you have those rotations/COMATs later in the year you could get away with less study time. Also, if you are on an easier rotation to end the year.

Wow our step and comlex are nearly identical, as are our comats. Hoping that correlates to a 250+ step 2. What are you going into/how has interview season treated you?

Internal medicine, only applied ACGME. Interview season was good, I'm fairly happy with my options.
