Does anyone know of someone who got into medical school without the support of their undergrad committee? I had some serious health problems during ugrad (emotional AND physical) and they do not support my candidacy, however I have several strong letters from individual faculty and work supervisors.

Can it be done?
What do I tell schools about why I don't have a Committee letter?
Should I forget about medical school?

Some schools require a committee letter if your school has a committee. Try the ones that do not have such requirements.

How about if you are a a few years removed from college? can you go on your own with individual recommendations then and how do medical schools view that?
