Communication, what makes a master in this area. I wish to become better at communicating and conveying messages. It is an important subject, but which things should you prioritize if you wish to be good at communicating, conveying a message.
So i have read numerous times, that The actual words coming out of my mouth matter X%, i seem to recall 7% or some ludicrous low number. So im thinking if i wish to be more effective at communicating, maybe its not a search for the right words, but maybe some other component.
So first thing, i was wondering if anyone know of any references on the exact numbers for importance of components in communication?
What stuff matters most if you wish to be an excellent communicator? If you wish to convey messages more proficiently what should you improve?
Like how do things such as body language, words, and tone of voice, face expression rank up against each other.
In short
1. Which things of communicating would you say an excellent communicator should train ? Which components do you find are the most important in delivering a message convincingly.
2. Does anyone know of the study that tells the whole "words actually only matter x% sensation" or rather can someone give a reference that lays down the estimates of all components of communication, and not just words.
