Compiled list of letter of recommendation requirements

I've tried searching and couldn't find a compiled list of letter of recommendation requirements for medical schools 2012- 2013. Anyone know if one exists or have one from last year? Thanks.

Because letter requirements are pretty generic.

I have a list of LOR requirements for about 40 schools...but its tailored to my application so it won't be useful to you. 😳

Safest bet is to visit the websites of the schools you want to apply/have applied to. Or just google"Your School Here College of Medicine Letter of Recommendation"......it usually will take you right where you need to go.

Because letter requirements are pretty generic.

Most of the time, but some schools have requirements like one letter must be from a professor in your major department; at least two letters must be character reference letters from physicians you've shadowed or research mentors; one letter must talk about your communication skills; etc.
