I have visited a couple of sites which list a small handful of DO schools with average MCAT(average MCAT of their matriculants), but I have not yet found a site which compares all the DO schools.

Anyone know of a site?

This thread has a few pieces of good info (and some bad info, too). Read through the whole thing.

Also, I'm working on compiling reliable data for this. 🙂

Is there a reason that AACOM does not want to officially publish the scores similar to the MSAR? I mean it would be a lot more comprehensive for osteopathic medical school applicants while officially articulating the closing gap btw MD and DO applicant pool? Instead as DO applicants, we rely on outdated information with no official sources to back it up. It all feels like a scramble and puzzle solving right from the start....

Also, I understand DO schools are known to go beyond the numbers to assess an applicant holistically. However, I just think we also need the concrete evidence to support/indicate the closing gap btw the appeal of these 2 equal branches of medical education. I mean getting into medical school is one thing, but choosing a program as your first choice is another... thnx

This information does exist. It's just a little trickier to find.

Here's the GPA & MCAT statistics from 2000 - 2005. (It's the newest data published)

It doesn't break them down into averages by school, but you can usually find that data on each school's website.
