Hey everyone,

I am a 3rd year undergraduate at UConn, biological sciences major, and I am looking to do a MPH. Currently, I have a 3.3 GPA and I haven't taken the GRE. Right now, after looking at some brief information on schools, I really like the following ten (in no particular order):
- Drexel University
- Emory University
- St. Louis University
- SUNY Albany
- UC Berkeley
- University of Illinois at Chicago
- University of Iowa
- University of Pittsburgh
- Boston University
- University of Washington

I am most interested in either Environmental & Occupational Health, or Health Management & Policy.

Does anyone know from experience how these schools are in the two fields? Or are there some other schools that are better for the fields than I am looking at now? What schools are not good, if any?

Not my area of interest, but I have long heard that UIC is very strong in Environmental Health/Occ Med. UW also has some interesting work going on this area but probably less so than UIC. I'd recommend looking into all of these schools, basically just researching who's publishing on what subjects, and that should give you a strong idea of where you'd like to be. Also, since you're researching this far in advance, which is great, once you narrow the list a bit would probably help you to speak to students at each program, which may help narrow the list even more.
