Stay safe out there everyone
All of these posts, tweets, and media spots are going to look so bad in hindsight. COVID-19 is far more infectious and deadly than the flu. Our public health system has utterly failed the nation and the world. Yeah, you may be less likely to die if you're healthy, but a healthy person is just as likely to die from this as they are from the flu except it is more contagious and there is no medication or vaccine to treat it. The only hope we have of limiting the spread to a speed that can be handled by our hospital systems is mass quarantine, but by the time that measure is even considered it will be too late. Coronavirus kills far slower than the flu and people need hospital care far more often (we're looking at 3-4 weeks of average hospital treatment for the critically ill, and 15% of infections being serious or critical). Yeah, we should all stay calm. But this will not end well for a lot of people. My infectious disease colleague says "use lots of hand sanitizer, cough into your arm, avoid shaking hands and try not to touch your nose or mouth. And if you don't have any underlying risk conditions, you're really not at risk. Did you get your flu shot?"
We don't have traffic rules anymore.any chance this could impact traffic rule dates
Honestly I think by the end of March all med schools would have canceled second look lol.
any chance this could impact traffic rule dates
At this point we should do a list of second look days that are not canceled
Same, don't understand the point of this thread if all of the schools are gonna be canceled, it's a matter of when at this point
