Idk why, but part of me feels as if at least one school will mistakenly notify their acceptances on Saturday via automated portals maybe
Fingers crossed for this and that I am a lucky one to find out good news
Me trying to figure out of such an email will be fake news or not and will still have to wait until dec 3rd to know for sure

I have a ‘check back on Dec 3rd’ from the school I interviewed at. I doubt it means anything.

From what I’ve seen in past threads that showed up for people who were going to be accepted. It could be different this year though idk

A few weeks ago my Iowa status changed from "Invited for Interview" to "Check back December 3". Then a few days later it changed to "Received/Under Review." I have no idea what that means...

I doubt it. It's too much work to go back and review the early applicants and to replace them. What if the Nov 30 interviewees also impress them, are they going to review the earlier interviewees again? It will be a dead cycle, LOLIt might just be the anxiety talking but I was thinking about something recently
Do schools ever revisit and replace earlier interviewees?
Let's say you interview in September and they will say accepted, but 50 people on Nov 29 interview and just wow all of them. Will they go back and replace older interviewees?
For USC, I'm pretty sure it says "Check Back Dec 3rd" for everyone that interviewed.
Or maybe from history, it seemed that it was too easy to infer what the status meant.
Mine did the same thing, so hopefully it's a good thing haha.

I got the "Check back December 3rd" status right after my interview and a week or two later it turned into "Received/Under Review." Maybe the Check back status mean something after all, since we don't all have it!

I decided I'm not going to class on Monday since I would be incredibly distracted throughout the day anyway. One day of missed class is worth not missing that phone call we all want to get and getting to freak out when you see your portal change (for better or worse) IMO.
Hm, weird. I still don't think it means anything but for my sake I hope it means something good because it still says "Check Back Dec 3rd" for me. Honestly, they're probably trolling us.

So glad I have assignments due to keep me occupied (never thought I'd say that lol)
I wish I had more assignments to keep me occupied at this point...

Thank you so much! That's very nice of you to say. To give you an idea, I have a capstone presentation tomorrow. I have to give a presentation on monday using only spanish. I have another presentation using only spanish on tuesday. I have an interview in spanish on tuesday. I have a 5 page capstone paper due the day of my graduation. Oh, and I have to ship all of my stuff to FL THIS WEEKEND. So, gotta pack quickly

It’s a lot, a lot to practice remember and get done. But the more responsibility we take on, the stronger we become. Besides that’s nothing compare to all that you have overcome already.
This week will be fun, crazy, but fun lol

Rooting for you!I only wish decision day wasn't this late in the cycle. I know decision day is October 15 for those applying to medical school. It potentially allows those with early acceptances to save so much money and time by limiting the number of later interviews they have to attend. And they may be relieved so much earlier. Does anybody know what it is for other health professions schools?
I have a friend who interviewed for optometry school in august and 4 days later she was accepted. It was her top choice so she didn’t need to go to any other interview
