Couple questions about PHARMCAS

hey thanks for taking the time to help!

Couple questions...

1)i received a WF in a meaningless class.. Will that show on pharmcas as 0 points on my gpa? Cause that would be devastating. I unknowingly withdrew from the class too late.

2)I have a professor who I'd like to get an electronic letter of recommendation from but I'm taking him in the fall and I'm not registering for pharmcas until next summer when I start applying.. Can I register for pharmcas now and save that LOR or do I have to email that professor next summer when he probably won't remember me asking him for a LOR?

1. An F will count towards the GPA calculation if it is on the transcript.

2. LOR will not be transferred from old cycle to the new cycle. Have him write it before you officially apply.

The following course types are not counted in PharmCAS GPA calculations.

Advanced Placement
CLEP
Audit
Deferred
Institutional/Departmental Exam
International Baccalaureate
Incomplete
Pass/Fail
Withdrawn/Withdrawn Passing
Withdrawn Failing

Based on what you have from pharmcas, your GPA is probably safe.
