Hello guys,
I am having some trouble with the aacomas course classification. Aren't History, geography, communication and African American Litterature supposed to be classified as Social and Behavioral Sciences?
And why these courses are not included in such category by the AACOMAS?

why does it matter since it has no chance of being in your science GPA?
Some schools require 6 credits of Behavioral science courses.

I don't believe that those courses are considered behavioral/social sciences. Classes like sociology and psychology are the ones they are looking for...perhaps a human factors course will also count for credit in that area. Regardless, you can always email AACOM and ask them any questions about your application. They will also review your application after it is sent to make sure classes are classified the right way.

I see. From what I understood the following courses would fulfill
Social/Behavioral Science.

Anthropology
Community Health
Criminal Justice
Educational Psychology
Ethnic Studies
Human Sexuality
Marriage/Family
Personal Health
Physiological Ethics
Psychology
Social Science
Social Work/Sociology

Those courses you listed do not fall under Social/Behavioral Science.

You can always apply now and fulfill the prereqs this fall, spring, or next summer.

i think the communication course could count as behavioral depending on the course content...
