Course Number Error

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
What is the name of the course. If it's a pre-req (doesn't seem like it would be), then you might have to inform them, although they will want your final transcripts later when they verify everything before matriculation. So, I would probably sit on it as it seems to be a minor issue. After all, there are people that apply after Junior year, and therefore still have many classes to take that are not on AMCAS.

Hello all!

So unfortunately, I listed two courses on AMCAS with the same course number of 425 when they should instead be 425 and 426. I have already been verified and AMCAS cannot change it. Should I email each school/tell each school about the error in my secondaries? Thanks!
So much for relying on so-called Verification to be accurate. You made an error, but then, so did AMCAS. Did you ask them to change it, or just go by what was said in the Guide?

Presumably, though the course number is the same, the verifier didn't mark it as a Repeat?

All that said, I don't think the mistake will make a difference in your application cycle, and the true state of affairs will be evident when you send your final, required official transcript to the school you choose to attend.

I called and they said that they only verify the grades attached to each course and essentially nothing else (I thought the same thing). Do you think I should bring attention to the error in my "additional comments" in my secondaries or just leave it alone? Thanks!
Let it go.
