Hi all!

Not sure what the sudden influx of Community College students is all about, but hey, here it goes.

I'm also a CC student going to a UC next year. I've been looking at plans on how to fit the rest of my upper division classes and the BCPM classes that are prereqs.

I am debating whether I should take the calc based sequence at the 4 year or take it after graduation at my old CC. I've read some old threads that debate the quality/acceptance of CC credits as well as taking pre reqs at a CC after graduation.

Pros: save money by not taking extra classes over summer to graduate on time, fits in gap year plan, not a crazy course-load while at the 4 year

Cons: CC units, CC after graduation

Thank you for your time!

If you believe taking it during your 4th year will hurt your GPA, then take it after graduation. Medical schools want to see you make smart decisions; preserving your GPA instead of trying to overexert yourself is seen as a wise decision.

Thanks for the response!

I can't believe I forgot to include that it is calc based **physics**, not the math sequence. I doubt that it makes a difference, but I wanted to clarify.
